It’s that time of year again – you know the one I’m talking about. Cooler days, chilly evenings, the changing of the trees’ leaves, pumpkin spice everything, and lurkers in the dark. That’s right, it’s time for Fall!
Fall is my favorite season (sorry the rest of the year!) for so many reasons – the weather is the best, kids are back in school, and, did I mention, Halloween? YESYESYES! Halloween is the best!
So, here are a list of things I like to do on the Equinoxes:
- Clean the house thoroughly
- Take stock of where my projects are at
- Create a brief overview of what I want for the next three months
- Develop a list of supplies I’m going to need
- Medical and dental appointments as necessary
- Double check the budget
- Cleanse my space
- Create moon water
- Cleanse my crystals (I’m so lazy, I do it once a season)
- Draw some Tarot cards to assist with planning
- Connect with friends and family I haven’t touched base with for awhile
- Dive back into some real home cooking
- Stock up on Halloween supplies (all year round supplies, really)
- Launch some projects (art, mostly)
- Eat as much pumpkin spice baking as I can
Fun list, right? Some of it is just general housecleaning stuff and whatnot, but it’s importable to have it in there. As a practicing witch, when I am cleaning I am also cleansing at the same time – where do you think that whole broom thing came from, anyways?
