Way back in Psychic Defenses we learned how to create a simple shield of white light surrounding us.
Did you know you can customize and “upgrade” your shield with all sorts of functions?
For example, when I was younger I was painfully shy and I didn’t want to be noticed at all, so I created a shield that would cause people’s eyes to “slide off” me when they looked at me. In my visualization, it looked a bit like the effect they used for the Predator Alien in the Predator movies – transparent with a bit of a wavey effect to it. In my visualization, the waves flowed away from the center of the shield, carrying the viewer’s vision with it.
As another example, when there were people I didn’t want to run into for whatever reason, I would create a larger shield, maybe 15 feet in radius, of netted energy and I focused the energy on the person I didn’t want to see. The idea was that the net would catch them, and only them, and push them away. I’ve also stretched the net across doorways and streets when I felt it was necessary.
Don’t be afraid to experiment with your shields, layer them, or even create things that are kind of like a shield but not totally. Energy is extremely flexible and there’s a lot of things you can do with it. I would love to hear about your experiments!
